Kstis
(Konstantinos Kalathakis)

Kstis, born in 2001, is a self-taught artist from Heraklion, Crete, Greece, specializing in painting. His artistic journey began at a young age, drawing and copying characters from comics such as Asterix and Lucky Luke. Starting with acrylic painting, he gradually developed his use of color and expanded his practice into oil painting.

 Graduated in 2025 from the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki, specializing in Painting, while also developing his skills in Printmaking and Industrial Design. During his studies, he participated in an academic program in Macerata, Italy.

In 2024, he completed an internship at MOMus Museum, working as a guide and contributing to educational programs connected to a Picasso exhibition. In 2025, he completed another internship in Porto, working on special educational programs and creating graphic design for a website.

Kstis has participated in exhibitions and artistic projects internationally, including in Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia and South Korea. Through his paintings, he seeks to create a visual form of storytelling, using the vibration and warmth of his characteristic orange and brown palette to connect the human figure with memory, place, and feeling. Creates a sense of closeness to human flesh
